Bullard TALENT K-8 is committed to the philosophy that the “Arts Are Academic.”

ALL students receive specialized instruction in the competencies of Visual Arts, Theater Arts, Music Arts, Dance/Movement/P.E., and Media Arts that spirals from basic to advanced. The components for the California Arts Standards for Public Schools are offered through a variety of experiences and courses offered in each competency. Instruction in the 5 competencies is delivered through a combination of grade level appropriate required and optional participation in:

• Kindergarten Visual Arts Program
• Classroom Music Classes
• Classroom Art Mornings
• Grade Level Performances
• Visual and Performing Arts Core (VPAC) Courses
  • Elementary (K-5) Visual and Performing Arts Core (VPAC) Program
  • Middle School (6-8) Visual and Performing Arts Core (VPAC) Program
• Audition/Application Only Groups
