Facts to Consider Before Applying to Bullard TALENT K-8:

• Our school maintains a fast-paced academic environment, as instructional time is carefully balanced with providing students a wide range of opportunities to participate in the performing arts. 
• We are a magnet school meaning that students could be subject to revocation if students do not have:  
  • Grades consistent with the student’s ability
  • Satisfactory school citizenship
  • Satisfactory attendance, including punctual arrival to school and classes throughout the day
• We accept students from grade levels K-7. Note: We DO NOT accept incoming 8th graders.
  • Grade levels with the highest acceptance rate are:
    • Incoming Kindergarten
    • Incoming 4th Graders

Q: Does my child have to qualify for GATE?
A: No, students do not need to qualify for GATE to attend Bullard TALENT.

Q: Do we have to live in the Bullard High Region?
A: No, students do not need to live in the Bullard High Region.  Additionally, Bullard TALENT students living in the Fresno Unified boundaries can take a school bus from their home school.  

Q: Does my child have to be good at art/music/dance/theater in order to attend Bullard TALENT?
A: No. There are no prerequisite levels of art ability required to attend Bullard TALENT, where the Arts are Academic. We grow our own! Students have the opportunity to learn art, music, dance, and theater at each grade level.
