Athletics Program
Why Be a Student-Athlete?
Being a student-athlete at Bullard T.A.L.E.N.T. is a unique opportunity. Student athletics is a great way to get involved in school and make some lasting connections with teammates.
Eligibility Guidelines
Middle Schools follow CIF rules for eligibility. All student-athletes must have a 2.0 or higher GPA to be considered eligible to play. Under these guidelines, students prior quarter grades are what deem a student-athlete to be able to play in the seasonal sports. Students with poor or chronic behavioral issues, including more than one “N” in citizenship on their report card, will lose the opportunity to participate in athletic events, and ineligible for play. Students who are ineligible once the teams have been chosen and the season has commenced, will lose their place on the team.
Help your child stay eligible by frequently monitoring grades on ATLAS and helping them make good choices. Remember, student-athlete means student comes first.
